About my Linen and Lace

• Pattern Used: My own design
• Fabrics Used: Tessuit Dove Grey Linen with 100% cotton crochet lace
• Time To Create: 2 weeks on and off
• Dress Influenced By: Early 20th century art and design would have to be my favourite period and I call this my surrealist dress. I like the idea of combining unexpected elements together; dreams combined with reality, contradicting elements purposely mixed to emphasize the differences. So while the front is very austere and serious the back is playful and girly.

• My Experience: I started to sew when I was really young. I studied fashion so from then on I was sewing all the time.
• My Sewing Goals: To combine great design with beautiful fabric and create something unique that i'll want to wear over and over again.
• Additional Information: I'm passionate about art, photography, forgotten crafts, self sufficiency, great design in any form....many many things.
