About my Linen and Lace

• Pattern Used: My own design
• Fabrics Used: Tessuti white medium weight linen, Tessuti lace and Tessuti swiss cotton
• Time To Create: 3 weeks on and off
• Dress Influenced By: My influences for this dress were the 1920s and revival 1970s drop waist style, with a modern, young interpretation. Also the Spring and Summer 2011 collections by Julien Mcadonald and Dolce and Gabbana influenced the design.
• Additional Information: The photos could not have come out as good as they did without the amazing modeling of Lucinda, Annika and Sarah helping with the hair and make-up and Chris, the photographer, also Gabby and Mum!

• My Experience: Last year was the first time entering the Tessuti Awards. I am currently 16, in year 10 studying textiles technology. My main experience is sewing clothes for myself for the past couple of years.
• My Sewing Goals: I wish to be apart of the fashion industry.
• Additional Information: I am passionate about designing clothes, travelling, fashion and music.
